Our Story
Owen Rocheleau started Coleman Floral and Greenhouses on a small plot of land in the middle of the little town of Coleman Wisconsin in 1948. After serving in the Marine Corp. during World War II he found working a factory job unchallenging, so decided to open a business that fit his passion for growing things. The first year they sold only Geranium plants for Mother's Day and today (over 75 years later) it's bloomed into a successful flower shop and greenhouse opperation, serving 9 (and sometimes more) surrounding communities. The shop moved to an area just on the edge of town in 1963 to have ample space to expand and raise children. After Owen's death his wife Arleen kept the business going with the help of their 12 children, until daughter Franny took it over in 1979. We still delight in serving our customers with the freshest and best quality flowers in the area, plus a nice selection of garden plants and flowers in the springtime. |
